Florida's Controversial "Castle" or "Stand Your Ground" Law.

Does  your state have an illegal "shoot your neighbor" law?
Can you find the errors in this one?

  1. The reporting on the Florida shooting has been less than honest, as a matter of fact Goebbels would have been proud of the way our news media has reported this tragedy. The facts coming out now seem to support the fact that Zimmerman (the first white hispanic in the history of news reporting) was returning to his truck when he was attacked by Trayvon Martin. Here are somethings that maybe pertinent that the media hasn't reported Martin was 6' 3" weighed about 230 and Zimmerman was around 5' 9" and weighed less then 180. Zimmerman had a broken nose and scraps consistant with being thrown down on concrete. There was a wittness that said they seen Martin on top of Zimmerman beating him. Although, I think Zimmerman should have stayed in his vehicle and waited for the police to arrive, it is becoming obvious that the evidence availiable to police indicate that Zimmerman used the weapon in self defense. Now what of the manipulation of the press by showing pictures of Martin that where from when he was 13 or 14, and editing the 911 tape so that it appeared as if Zimmerman said he looks suspicious and he looks black (nice job NBC). What the tape really said was:
Zimmerman: He is acting weird, like he is up to no good or high or something.
Dispatcher: What nationality is he, hispanic, white, black?
Zimmerman: I don't know he looks black.
This story is being reported for and in such a way to create controversy. I think people are intentionally throwing gas on a fire, for what reason I don't know. One thing I do know is that with unemployment in the African American community near 50% in some areas (Detroit for instance) creating a racial situation out of this is a huge mistake. Our President chimed in to say that if he had a son he would look like Trayvon. I don't even know what he means by that unless he is saying he would be black like Trayvon, but what does that have to do with anything. I guess I could say that if I had a mom she would look like Barrack Obama's mom.

As for the "Stand your ground law", I am older now and can't run so good so I have no choice but to stand my ground.
